One of the most visited tourist destinations in Bangkok is the Grand Palace. The Thai king and royal family’s former residence was a structure constructed in 1782. There is a lot to see and do at the palace complex, which is made up of numerous different structures, temples, and gardens. Within the palace complex is Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which is well worth a visit.
